Extension and repair to an existing brick veneer bungalow in Perth’s northern suburbs. Lean-to structures bodged to rear of house are removed. The new addition uses standard construction methods and finishes in an interesting way: a brick plinth wraps inside the house to a split level. The roof, a simple gable organises the plan into two halves, with an open, raised walkway. Exposed stud walls, clad in transparent material allow light from high up the walls.

New house in regional Western Australia on a low budget. Sited on a hill the compact square plan is oriented towards inlet views. A central skylight illuminates the living spaces. Timber and steel construction. With Group Assignment.

Repair and façade modification to a jarrah framed 90s kit home in remote rural Western Australia. As much of the existing structure and materials are preserved and repaired. A simple exercise in introducing new light and avoiding demolition.
